New Digital Age

Is it right to be able to censor what people can see on the internet? Can you imagine the outrage people would have in the US if we had a dictator who said only certain people can read the news or look at something that everyone is entitled to. We are pretty lucky that for the most part we have freedom on the internet, but at the same time we need to look at how our freedom may cause privacy issues not only for us, but for other people as well. The first thing we do when we meet someone new is add them on facebook or twitter or whatever the network may be. You get a glimpse into their lives and you don't even know that person. It is an odd thing if you ask me. But, times are changing and it is a new digital age that we are living in.
